JBB performed for the first time at Jaguar Land Rover Sports and Social Club on 31st August 2024. To say that a journey that should have been smooth sailing was made extremely difficult is an understatement. Something in the air did not want the band to arrive. Marred by numerous incidents and traffic on the motorway the band finally arrived to get set up.

Walking into this club and being greeted by a massive stage was amazing for the band. Plenty of room to spread out and make some noise...and of course see how much of the space we could use up of course.

JBB were kept inline by the Clubs Compere and Resident DJ 'Fast Eddie', who also opened up the night by performing a few songs himself. Sound checked and ready to roll the band relaxed for a short time with a few of JBB followers who had braved the motorways as well to arrive at the club.

JBB were announced to go on stage and they let the music ring out bringing applause from a nearly full venue following every song. Chris had a technical difficulty in the middle of the set and Andy was asked to chat to the club, clearing up how the band were named Jack and Burr. One change of guitar lead and the gig continued.

Following a short break JBB went live again and from the first song until the last Jaguar Land Rover Sports and Social Club patrons did not stop dancing on the beautiful large dance floor for the remainder of the night. 'Fast Eddie' had been reviewing the bands list of songs and even requested a song that the band has not played in around 7 years...JBB never to back down from a challenge performed Bad Case of Loving You, Robert Palmer loudly and gave the shout out to 'Fast Eddie'. Finishing their second set with AC/DC that you have all come to know and love them performing the crowd went wild and a few members came to the stage to request specific songs...obviously they had checked out the website before hand!

All in all it was an amazing night of fun, laughter and music. JBB look forward to returning to a great venue and if you missed it this time make sure and get yourself there next time.
