The Washington
December 1963, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons released the classic “Oh what a night”. Fast forward to Saturday November 11th in the party town of Blackpool the Jack Burr Band performed at The Washington and the only way the night could be described is Oh what a night!
A venue full of regular band followers and new supporters enjoyed a night full of fun, great music and surprises.
The surprises came thick and fast from Andy playing an impromptu version of Careless Whisper and inviting members out of the audience to sing with the band to Bass Guitarist and Lead Singer, Chris, taking to the drums or should I say cymbals.
Drummer, Phil, was playing hard and sent drum rings and drumsticks flying to the delight of the other band members. On the night there was a birthday celebration of regular follower Lisa, who is apparently 21 +VAT.
All in all it was a fantastic night full of thrills, spills and Bandoke with lots of followers there to support us in their Jack Burr Band t-shirts and hoodies.
