Masters Rugby League National Festival

Every year for the last 7 years, during the month of September the band are asked to perform at a local event organised by Blackpool Masters and Blackpool Belles. The event is an annual event where Masters Rugby League teams from around the country gather to compete in a competition. Each year the numbers grow resulting in over 480 people competing in the 2023 event.

The event is organised and ran by Husband and Wife team Paul and Angela Ogden. This years event was every bit as fantastic as previous years even though Paul and Angela have had a horrific year due to a serious illness suffered by Rugby League favourite Paul (Oggie).

This year marked the 7th consecutive year for the Jack Burr Band. We would like to thank Blackpool Masters, Blackpool Belles, all Masters from clubs the length and breadth of the UK and of course Oggie and his wife Angela It has been an absolute pleasure to perform again this year. The lads really enjoyed playing and had a fabulous time.
