Royal Oak - Dead’uns, Fleetwood

Fleetwood is known for its fishing port, Tram Sunday and on March 15th it was known for hosting Jack Burr Band for the first time at Royal Oak - Dead’uns.

This venue knows what it likes and it likes live music. JBB were ready and raring to go with their own version of live music and this venue was ready to listen.

From the sound check through to each set played the venue did not stop bouncing. From guitar played on a pool cue to the barman informing us it was great to here some “great songs played amazingly”.

Stealing a statement from a long time follower of the band that he has made on one of our socials

“Do you like music? Do you enjoy a charismatic singer? Have you been in the presence of a drumming genius? How about having your ears melted by a phenom playing a guitar?

If you have answered yes to all these questions, then congratulations you have seen Jack Burr Band and will undoubtedly see them again and again.

If you answered no to any of these questions then stand up, give your head a wobble and find out when and where this phenomenal band is playing near you and get your sorry ass down there to experience their genius!”

This sums up the evening nicely.

We return to this venue in August…and what a night it will be!
