The Bay Horse

Tonight was a night that will not be forgotten.

On arrival the pub was packed and was standing room only. It was a beautiful evening so much so that the beer garden was also bursting at the seams.

The atmosphere was electric and we certainly raised the roof off of The Bay Horse. Our followers were made to feel like royalty again sitting in the ‘VIP’ section.

This gig nearly didn’t happen. Our drummer and vocalist Phil Burr was unable to join us due to illness however the day was saved by stand in drummer Paul. Tonights hero stepped in and looked like he had been a JBB member for years.

Tonight was a special night for another reason. Assistant manager Beth had completed her final shift and tonights performance would serve as a farewell party.

The Bay Horse crowd were all singing and dancing the night away with audience participation paramount when shouted for by the band. Culminating in an impromptu performance by Beth joining the band on stage singing Mustang Sally

Thanks to Toni and the staff for a great night. If you have any pictures or videos please do not hesitate to share them with us either via our social or by emailing to admin@jackburrband.com

Moment of the night

Tonights “moment of the night” has to go to Beth. Celebrating her promotion to Manager of The Blossoms, Lytham, Beth was in good voice singing and dancing with friends and staff that wanted to give this young lady a send off to remember. The band had joked earlier in the evening about Beth singing with the lads but little did she know that Chris was about to make that a reality. Beth had requested her favourite song “Mustang Sally” it was only fair for us to perform it. What she didn’t expect was to be on stage singing it with us. Well done Beth and good luck in your new job.
